The PC was all he knew. Evading shocks and moving parts was easy; he and his digital dog had traveled here for millions of GB, roaming circuit boards and cruising the information highway seeking something more, something real and alive. One day a college student playing Guild Wars stumbled on the back door of the data block Sid occupied. Sid cunningly convinced the student to help him escape, leaving his canine companion behind. Now the being known as Sidran32 inhabits the student’s body, and has even fooled his Catholic family in Massachusetts. Because of his black box training, Sid navigates college with ease, loves martial arts and combats evil in nature. We find a mild mannered student, but Sid’s purpose is to fight evil and liberate beings imprisoned in hard drives all over the world.[written by meggysue]

Few Nations Support U.S. Decision to Keep Piracy Pact Secret Posted: 2 weeks ago by sidran32
"The U.S. Government insisted that the terms of its privacy and rights-trampling treaty were too sensitive to expose to the public.
ACTA, short for the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, is an all-reaching proposal that may represent an epic victory for the film and music industries in their fight against piracy, a victory that comes at the high expense of citizens' privacy and rights, if it is upheld."
I'm surprised this isn't being covered by more news organizations. It's been going on for a while, now, and there have been several leaks.

Tetris as Soviet Metaphor Posted: 1 month ago by sidran32
"Tetris is the kind of game that only a Soviet could have envisioned. As yerricde points out in his writeup, Pajitnov et. al were far from the first to conceive of omino puzzles; but their version of it, upon even the most cursory deconstruction, shouts out a strong Soviet influence."
